L&P Client Vivex Biomedical Settles with MiMedx Group in Patent Dispute

Vivex Biomedical, Inc. successfully resolved a dispute with MiMedx Group, Inc.  Today, a joint motion was filed to terminate an inter partes review (IPR), IPR2017-01220, brought against MiMedx Group’s U.S. Patent No. 8,709,494.  The ’494 Patent is directed to dehydrated, laminated placental tissue grafts used for transplantation.  L&P partner Kevin Laurence was lead counsel for Vivex Biomedical in the IPR.
